The British Columbia Forest Service regularly reviews the timber supply in the Timber Supply Areas (TSAs) that Downie Timber Ltd. and Selkirk Cedar Ltd. operates in. The timber supply review (TSR) examines the impacts of current forest management practices on the timber supply, economy, environment and social conditions of the local area. Based upon this review, the province’s Chief Forester determines a new annual allowable cut (AAC) specific to each TSA and licensee. The reports provided below contain information used in the determination of the harvest levels.
